PERSONALITY
Labradors are characterized as brave, rather than aggressive. They are opened towards people and other animals. They do not provoke fights, and when teased, they simply go away. Labradors are composed and well-balanced but also cheerful, fond of caress and a variety of plays since early childhood till the old age.
The dog is very patient towards the dogs. It accepts all the children’s ideas and imprudent caress with joy, waving its tail. It will tolerate even such plays as riding on its back or dressing for a queen. When the dog is totally tired, it will go away rather than snarling or growling on a child.
Because Labradors are totally deprived of aggression, guarding is in contradiction with their nature, and watching the property will never be their passion. You should not forget though, that it is a big, well-built dog, that commands respect, especially if it is black. |
